Richmond – Rosewood Village Redevelopment

Overview

BC Housing is planning to redevelop the ageing rental homes at Rosewood Village, located at 8220-8240 and 8260-8280 No. 2 Road. The goal is to replace these homes with modern, energy efficient rental apartments and townhomes that will serve the Richmond community for years to come.

The redevelopment will include:

• Replacement of 138 rent geared to income homes for families, seniors and people with disabilities.
• Add new purpose-built rentals for people with moderate and middle incomes.

All current residents of Rosewood Village will be supported throughout the redevelopment process.

The land will continue to be owned by BC Housing. Learn more about the Provincial Redevelopment Program.

Operator

BC Housing will continue to directly manage the homes included in the first phase of construction.
