Let's Talk Housing in Surrey
Consultation has concluded
The City of Surrey and the Province have committed to building 250 permanent supportive housing units to address the city’s urgent need for housing with supports for people experiencing homelessness.
The new permanent housing will help transition people who are currently living in temporary modular homes in central Surrey.
In June 2018, a coordinated effort involving 12 organizations helped to relocate more than 200 people who were experiencing homelessness and staying on 135A street, into new temporary accommodation units.
