Lu’ma Native Housing Society is purchasing the Deluxe Hotel, located at 3505 Kingsway in Vancouver, with supporting funds from the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia.
The 24-room building will be renovated and reopened as supportive housing for Indigenous residents, providing the Indigenous community with access safe and secure housing with culturally appropriate supports services.
Renovations are currently taking place. We anticipate people will start to move in to the building in Fall 2022.
