Foundations 2025: Partner Engagement
Welcome to Let’s Talk – BC Housing’s Foundations 2025 Interim Strategic Plan
Where we're going
Like on any journey, we need to make sure we’re headed in the right direction and that we’re doing so together. That’s Foundations 2025. It’s our map from where we are to where we’re going. It sets our priorities, focuses our resources, and ensures that we are working towards common goals.
Our Vision is everyone has a place to call home. This is our North Star.
Our Mission is to provide access to safe, quality, accessible, and affordable housing options. This is what we do.
Our Purpose is to promote strong inclusive communities where people can thrive. This is why we do what we do.
Underpinning this is our unwavering commitment to reconciliation, equity, and sustainability. These continue to unite us in our work and shape BC Housing’s organizational culture.
Where we are
Since 1967, BC Housing has worked together with our partners to deliver affordable housing options in service of British Columbians and their housing needs. For decades, we’ve been united by our belief in the difference that safe, quality, and affordable housing makes for strong, inclusive communities where people can thrive.
As the complexity of our work has grown, so too has BC Housing. The work that we do together with more than 800 partners has never been more important, and the people of British Columbia have entrusted us to deliver on an historic investment that can shape our province for the better for decades to come.
We want to hear from you
Our engagement work builds on the Housing Executive Roundtables we held in 2023.
Foundations 2025 gives us a platform to come together with our partners as we work to build a longer-term strategic plan.
Now we’re asking our partners to work with us over the coming months to build a longer-term plan to launch in 2025. We’ve launched this Let’s Talk page where housing and service providers can share their ideas.
