The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased the 46-room Canada’s Best Value Inn at 6722 Glover Road in Langley, as part of a long-term plan to provide safe, supportive housing.

Since April 2020, BC Housing has been leasing the building as temporary housing for vulnerable people to maintain physical distance during COVID-19. The Lookout Health and Housing Society has been operating the building and will continue to do so, providing supports such as:

  • meals,
  • connection to health services,
  • harm reduction and client-focused programs.

The property will continue to have 24/7 staffing to provide security to residents of the building and the surrounding neighbourhood. Residents currently staying at the Canada’s Best Value Inn will remain as it transitions from temporary housing into permanent supportive housing.

Lookout will continue to remain as the operator

Lookout Housing and Health Society is a non-profit charitable organization established in 1971. The Society offers a range of programs, housing and health solutions to vulnerable adults living with multiple challenges. For more information, please visit their webpage: https://lookoutsociety.ca/
