The City of Surrey and the Province have committed to building 250 permanent supportive housing units to address the city’s urgent need for housing with supports for people experiencing homelessness.
The new permanent housing will help transition people who are currently living in temporary modular homes in central Surrey.

Surrey is in a housing crisis and over 600 people across the city are experiencing homelessness.
As part of the ongoing work to address this crisis, BC Housing has identified a potential location at 14706 104 Avenue to build approximately 60 new permanent studio apartments with 24/7 supports for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Surrey. The Province has submitted
a rezoning application to the City of Surrey for 38 permanent supportive homes.

permanent site to be selected by Surrey as part of the commitment made by the Province to work in
